    מרדכי היקר, האהוב והעניו, הצדיק והישר, מורה הדרך והמחנך שלנו, היום עברה שנה מיום  שנפרדת מאיתנו והשארתה אותנו יתומים, כולנו עומדים אבלים ועצובים וכפופי ראש, ליד קברך הרענן, קשה לנו מאד להסתדר בלעדיך, קשה לנו מאד לתפקד בלי הדרכתך, ומיעל לכל חסר לנו מאד החיוך המקסים שלך, את תפקידך בעולם הזה מלאת בהצטיינות, הייתה אבא ואח וראש המשפחה שלנו, הייתה המדריך והמחנך ומורה הדרך שלנו.

    מרדכי היקר, אני ואשתי והבנים והבנות שלי נזכור לתמיד את אהבתך הגדולה אלינו, וכמובן אנחנו אהבנו אותך מאד, והאהבה נשארה חזקה מאד וחקוקה בליבנו עד היום הזה, היא תמשיך לגדול ותישאר שמורה וחזקה לנצח.

    מרדכי היקר, תמיד קיבלת אותנו בחמימות ובשמחה ובזרועות פתוחים, ותמיד ישבנו ואכלנו ביחד, בשבתות ובחגים וגם בימי חול רגילים, ותמיד כשהגיע הזמן ללכת הביתה, היה קשה מאד להיפרד, ורק אחרי חבוקים ונשיקות והרבה דמעות, היינו נפרדים, וכמובן לא היתה נותן לנו ללכת בידיים ריקות, היתה מעמיס עלינו מכל טוב, כולל ממתקים ועוגיות וחלבה והרבה אהבה, והאהבה והברכות שלך ישמרו עלי ועל משפחתי לנצח.

    מרדכי היקר, אתה נמצא עכשיו בגן-עדן, נהנה מזיו השכינה, יחד עם אשתך היקרה ציפורה אשר אותה מאד אהבת, משקיף עלינו בגאווה מהמרומים ורואה את בניך ובנותיך ושאר בני המשפחה הנפלאה שהשארת מאחוריך, ממשיכים בדרכיך, וכולם אוהבים זה לזה, ועושים את כל מה שצריך שהמסורת של המשפחה תמשך, במיוחד לקיים את השולחן בכל ערב שבת ובחגים, וללכת לבית הכנסת.

    ריבונו של עולם, אני מתחנן לפניך, ברחמיך הרבים תחוס ותחמול, תשגיח ותשמור על מרדכי הצדיק, שעשה רק מצוות ומעשים טובים כל ימי חייו.

    תהא נשמתו של מרדכי הצדיק, בן יפת שלמה וחמאם בת אסתר לבית דוד, צרורה בצרור החיים, בגן-עדן תהא מנוחתו, בבניין בית המקדש, ובביאת המשיח תנוחמו, אמן. ושלא תדעו עוד צער.

    Few words for the memory of our Father Mordchay

    Dear Mordchay, the humble and the honest and the Tsadik, our guardian, mentor and teacher, we love you very much.  One year past since you left us orphans.  We are standing here sad, with our head bowed near your fresh grave.  It is very difficult for us to say goodbye to you, it is very difficult for us to manage without you, it is very difficult for us to perform our duties without your help, but the most of all we miss your wonderful smile.  You performed all your duties here on earth excellently.  You were our father, brother, teacher, mentor and the head of the family.

    Dear Mordchay, me and my wife and my sons and daughters, remember forever your great love for us, and of course we loved you very much, and our love will stay strong and preserved in our heart, and will continue to be with us forever.

    Dear Mordchay, you always welcomed us warmly and with open arms.  We always ate together on Saturdays, Holydays and ordinary days, and when it was time to go home, it was difficult to depart, but after hugs and kisses and a lot of tears, we were able to leave, but you did not let us leave empty handed, you gave us a lot of goodies, which include sweets, biscuits, cakes and halva, and  a lot of love, and your famous blessing which will protect us forever.

    Dear Mordchay, you are now in the Garden of Eden in heaven, enjoying from Ziv Hashchina, together with your wonderful wife Zipora, which you dearly loved very much.  You are looking proudly at your sons and daughters and the rest of the family that you left behind, they are continuing their duties the way you showed them.  There is a great love all round in the family, they are doing everything to keep the tradition of the family as before which will continue forever.  It is important as well to make sure the table arranged for Shabbat and Holydays, for the family to eat together and be united, also it is important to go to the Synagogue.

    I am praying to you:  You Merciful G-D.  Please look after and protect Mordchay the Tsadik who done only charity work and goods deeds all his life.

    Please let the soul of Mordchay the Tsadik, the son of Yefet Shlomo and Hamam, the daughter of Ester David, bundled in the bundle of life, in paradise he will rest.

    When the Mashiach come  and our Temple built you will be consoled, and you will have no more sorrow.

    מרדכי היקר הצדיק האהוב הישר הנאמן והעניו.

    עכשיו אתה נהנה מזיו השכינה בגן–עדן יחד עם כל הצדיקים הגדולים. משקיף עלינו מהמרומים ככוכב, ומראה למלאכים את כולנו שהשארתה מאחוריך, הוד והדר מסביבך, גאווה בלתי נפסקת על על פניך, עם ספרי קודש בידיך, בנים ובנות גדלת והם הולכים בדרכיך, דרכיך דרכי נועם, צדקה ומצוות במעשיך, דברי תורה בפיך, גם עתונים וספרים סביבך, אהבתך למשפחתך מתגברת מאד בלבבך, לבך חם כל הזמן, פניך תמיד מאירות, חיוכך מקסים, עיניך זוהרות, טוב וחסד בדרכיך, דבריך מלאי חכמה, אישיותך מרשימה.


    אתה נזכר בימים כשהיית צעיר מלא מרץ מלא כח ושובב, אתה נזכר גם כן שהייתה מרים את בניך ובנותיך על כתיפיך, ואת התאומים בזרועותיך, וכמובן את צפורה אשתך מאד אהבת, אתה נזכר גם כן שהיית הולך לבית הכנסת, בשבתות ובחגים וגם בימות השבוע.


    עכשיו לימוד מצידוק הדין

    הצור תמים פעלו כי כל דרכיו משפט, אל אמונה ואין עוול, צדיק וישר הוא, צדיק ה‘ בכל דרכיו, וחסיד בכל מעשיו, צדיק אתה ה‘ וישר משפטיך, לעולם יהא אדם ירא שמיים, בסתר ובגלוי, ומודה על האמת, ודובר אמת בלבבו, ויאמר: רבון העולמים ואדוני האדונים, לא על צדקותינו אנחנו מפילים תחנונינו לפניך, כי על רחמיך הרבים, כי כל ימינו תוהו וימי חיינו הבל לפניך.

    רבונו של עולם, תשגיח ותשמור ברחמיך הרבים על מרדכי הצדיק שכל מעשיו ומצוותיו הטובים שהיו רבים מספור. הרי הם ערוכים לפניך.

    Hesped shloshim to Mordechay by MENAHEM

    Dear Mordechay the Tsadik, very dear,decent, trustworthy and humble.
    Now you enjoy from ziv hashchina in Gan-Eden, together with all the great Tsadikim.  Looking at us from heaven like a star.  and showing
    the angels all of us, the family you left behind.

    Hod ve Hadar around you, unstopable pride on your face, with the  Bible
    in your hand, you brought up your sons and doughters and they are going in your ways, you had very decent ways, you made a lot of
    mitsvots and good deeds.  you often gave references from the Bible when you spoke.

    you had plenty books and newspapers around you.  your love to your family is getting stronger and stronger in your heart each day.

    your heart is very warm all the time, your face

    is always bright, you have beautiful smile, your eyes shining,you done good deeds always.  Your personality is outstanding.

    You remember the days when you were young very active, very strong and mischivious.  You remember as well when you were carying your sons and doughters on your shoulders and your twins on your arms, and of course you loved very much your wife zippora.  You also remember that you went regularly to the sinagogue, on Shabat, on Holydays, and also in mid week.

    Now a lesson from Tsidook Hadin.

    GOD Almighty actions are honest and his ways are Justise.  He is the GOD of the believer and he is against injustice.  He is a Tsadik, He is Honest.  GOD is a Tsadik in all directions and he is a Hasid in all his actions.

    GOD you are a Tsadik and Honest when you give Justice.  A man and women has to be GOD ferring for ever.

    They have to be GOD fearing for every one to see and he has also believe in GOD in his heart even without showing it to the outside world.

    A man has to admit the truth and speak truth in his heart.  And he has to say: King of the Universe and GOD of all the GODS:  Not only for our good deeds we are asking mercy from you, but because you are Mercyfull GOD at all time.

    As all our days in this world are complete waste and all our life in this world, you view it as a wastefull existance.

    I pleading with you:  Mercifull GOD of the Universe:  Please look after and protect, Mordechay the Tsadik that all his good deeds and Charity work are all lined up in front of you.

    May the soul of Mordechay the Tsadik, the son of Yefet Shlomo and Hamam Dughter of Ester David:  Bundled in the Bundle of life. In Heaven he will rest.

    When the Mashiach come, and the building of our Temple we shall be consolled.

    THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS WELCOMING US IN TO YOUR HOME, EVERY SHABAT ON A FRIDAY EVENING IN ISRAEL, YOU MADE ME FEEL SO PROUD AND HONOURED TO BE PART OF THE YEFET FAMILY, I JUST WISH I GOT TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH YOU IN ISRAEL AND I WISH I MANAGED TO MAKE AALIYA WITHIN THE LAST FOUR YEARS,SO I COULD VISIT MORE .

  • Hesped For Mordechay From Daniel Yefet

    After a short stay in hospital after an operation when  I was 10 years old, I was advised by my doctors to take time

    out to recuperate. Uncle mordechai was in town and he and my father whisked me off from my hospital bed  in

    london  to Edinburgh in Scotland, for several days to give my lungs fresh air and body time to heal. Uncle Mordechai

    stayed with me throughout that time until I fully recovered. And as the years rolled on, the patriarch and matriarch of

    the Yefet family Mordechai and Tzippora were always welcoming and  bestowed much kindness to my sisters, my

    brother and I whenever we decided to visit the state of Israel to the city of Tel-Aviv near the Kolba Shalom and the

    shuk hacarmel , close to the shores of the mediterranean sea, to a small street with a big heart, and a house fondly

    and simply remembered as

    Shesh Rehov metula, and those memories will stay with me in my heart forever.

    הספד למרדכי בן יפת

    אחרי ששהיתי תקופה קצרה בבית חולים בזמן שהייתי בגיל 10, הרופאים הציעו לי לצאת לחופשת החלמה למקום עם הרבה אויר צח. הדוד מרדכי שהיה בלונדון באותה תקופה והאבא שלי, לקחו על עצמם והתנדבו לקחת אותי למקום יפה ובריא , לאדינבורו בירת סכוטלנד, לתת לריאות שלי אויר צח וטרי ולגוף שלי את האפשרות המקסימלית להבריא.

    הדוד מרדכי נשאר אתי עד שהבראתי לחלוטין. ומיאז במשך שנים רבות דוד מרדכי ודודה ציפורה שהיו בשבילנו כמו סבא וסבתא, קבלו אותנו בשמחה רבה ופינקו אותנו הרבה.

    אני ואחי ג‘סון, והאחיות שלי קרן וג‘ודי נזכור לנצח את האהבה הגדולה של שניהם אלינו ובמיוחד את החיוך המקסים של הדוד מרדכי ואת המטעמים והריבות של הדודה ציפורה.

    יש מקום בישראל, ליד חוף הים של תל–אביב, שאנחנו אוהבים אותו מאד והוא חרוט עמוק בליבינו, שם המקום רחוב מטולה 6 תל–אביב.

    לצערינו הרב מרדכי וציפורה לא איתנו יותר, אבל אנחנו נמשיך בדרכם ונזכור את כל מה שלימדו

    אותנו. והכל שמור עמוק עמוק בליבינו.

    א’ אלול תשס”ט – 21/8/2009

    Dear Mordechay the Tzadik, his memory to be blessed.

    All your family is standing Avelim and Yetomim near your fresh grave.

    We are standing here sad, head bowed, helpless.

    You have been the central pillar of the family. We always remember forever and longing to the time that we have been praying together.

    You always gave us blessing in every opportunity.

    You always taught us to be good citizens with good manners and always to do good deeds. And you taught us also not to start the Kidush or Dinner before everybody is around the table.

    And you taught us that the family table, the Shabat, the Holydays and the Synagogue are very very important.

    And always when I came from London to Israel someone from the family was waiting for me at the Airport. Therefore, I always felt that this is your good teaching that you gave your sons and daughters. And this is what unite the family, as they are today, who love each other very strongly and all of us feel very proud to belong to the Yefet family.

    Dear Mordechai and your wonderful wife Tzipora- the TZADIKIM, of the blessed   memory, you are standing now in a very honourable place in Gan Eden and they are rejoicing in heaven together with the very great Tzadikim  of the Jewish people, looking at us with pride and pointing at us from heaven and watching the great family they left behind and they are proclaiming to all who want to hear

    our work on earth is well one.

    Please God, protect the soul of the great Tzadik Mordechay, the son of Yefet Shlomo and Hamam daughter of Ester from the David family.

    Please God keep him and look and protect him in the Bundle of life in “Gan Eden”

    May he rest in peace.

    Let us hope that we get comfort with  the building of our “Beit Hamikdash” and hope, the Mashiyach come soon and hope that we shall have no more sadness.

    מרדכי היקר, זכר צדיק לברכה,

    כל המשפחה שלך עומדים אבלים ויתומים ליד קברך הרענן, נפלה עטרת ראשנו ונשארנו המומים וחסרי אונים. אתה הייתה עמוד התווך שלנו וראש המשפחה והפרידה קשה מאוד מנשוא.

    תמיד נזכור לנצח ובגעגועים את הימים שהיינו ביחד, ושהיינו מתפללים ביחד, וכשהייתה מברך אותנו בכל הזדמנות ולימדת אותנו מוסר השכל ולהרבות במעשים טובים ועוד לימדת אותנו שהשולחן והמשפחה והשבת והחגים ובית הכנסת חשובים מאוד מאוד. ועוד למדנו ממך שאין להתחיל את הקידוש או האוכל לפני שכולם נוכחים מסביב לשולחן ותמיד כשבאתי מלונדון לישראל תמיד מישהוא חיכה לי בשדה התעופה וכך תמיד הרגשתי שזהו החינוך הטוב שנתת לבנים והבנות שלך, וזה מה שמלכד את המשפחה וכולם אוהבים זה לזה וכולנו מרגישים בגאווה להיות שייכים למשפחת יפת.

    לצפורה היקרה, הנעימה, הצנועה והאהובה

    היום כל המשפחה שלך וכל אלה שמכירים אותך, חברים וידידים קרובים ורחוקים גדולים וקטנים, עומדים עצובים כפופי ראש ליד קברך הרענן

    אבל כבד נפל עלינו, עזבת אותנו לאנחות, המומים עם כאב גדול מנשוא. יגון קודר רובץ עלינו מאז הבשורה המכאיבה שבאה עלינו כרעם ביום בהיר, ביום מר ונמהר, באופן פתאומי ובלי התראה מוקדמת

    כולנו מתאבלים עלייך, כולנו בוכים, את עשית מצוות ומעשים טובים כל ימי חייך, והארת את העולם באהבה הגדולה ותשומת הלב האישית והנפלאה שנתת לכל אחד ואחד מאיתנו, ועדיין אנחנו לא הספקנו לעכל במלואה את המכה האדירה שבאה עלינו בהפתעה גדולה ובלי אזהרה מוקדמת, וקשה לנו להתאושש מהאסון הכבד שבא עלינו ללא עת

    הדוורית תודיע כדרכה “צפורה, יש מכתבים בשבילך” – ואת לא תהיי שם לקבל אותם
    הירקן ישאל “איזה פירות וירקות את צריכה היום” – אבל את לא תהיי שם להשיב לו

    הטלפונים יפסיקו לצלצל – ציפי לא תהיה שם לענות

    נוכל לעשות רשימה ארוכה של כל הדברים הגדולים והקטנים שצריכים את חוות דעתך, ורבים ירגישו את חסרונך

    הדמעות ימשיכו לרדת מעינינו, ולבנו תמיד יהיה שבור, עכשו אנחנו יתומים, בלי האמא שלנו

    Eulogy

    Few words for the memory of Zippora, our Mother.

    Her memory will be blessed, together with the great tzadikim of the Jewish people.


    Dearest Zippora: We adore you , love , and respect you.

    Today all your family and all those people who knows you, friends

    from near and far, big and small, standing sad , near your fresh grave.

    We mourn you. You left us crying, our pain is too strong to absorb and great stress engulf us.

    Since we we heard the bad news which came on us

    like thunder in blue sky day, in a bitter day which came

    suddenly without warning.

    We mourn you, we are all crying, you done only good

    deeds all your life, you did light the world with your

    great love and personal understanding which you gave

    each one of us.

    Up to now we did not have the ability to feel the big blow

    (because we are still stunned,)

    which came upon us suddenly without warning and with difficulties

    to recover from the disaster.

    The Post woman will announce as usual: Zippora!

    I have letters for you,but you will not be there to

    receive them.

    The Greengrocer will ask: What fruits and vegetables you

    need today? But you will not be there to tell him.

    The phones will stop ringing, Zippy will not be there to answer.

    We can make a big list of all the things which need your advice,

    but of course you will not be there to advice us,

    Our eyes will be full of tears,

    Our heart will be broken always,

    Now we are orphans, without our Mother.

    May the soul of Zippora Yefet, the doughter of Silum and Shimon

    Nissim Hazan, will be bundled in a bundle of life in heaven.

    In Paradise she will rest.

    When our Mashiach come and our Temple built.

    You will be consoled.
